We are so excited to have him join our team this year. 💻📚 ✏️ All about Mr. Stratton: Mr. Stratton is a global citizen and believes in the motto, "The world is our campus." In his 30 years as an educator (Ed Tech teacher/coordinator, IT Director, Assistant Principal, Dean of Students, History teacher) at American international schools around the world, he's lived and worked in 10 different countries (Czechia, Poland, Morocco, China, Ecuador, Russia, Panama, Brazil, Azerbaijan, Morocco 2.0, and the USA). His philosophy of education is simple: "Education is not something you get. It is something you do" (Dr. Charles R. Stratton, Professor of English emeritus and my dad). Outside of work, Mr. Stratton loves family time, sports (Denver Broncos 4 life), travel, outdoors, geopolitics, languages and literature, and dabbling in philosophy and metaphysics. He also coaches basketball as a passion and his proud to have run the Flex offense on 5 continents! My name is Jennifer Vogt, but most call me Jen. I'm from Winslow, Arizona. I'm Native American. I've been teaching for about 10 years. I'm from Arizona, but lived in Texas for a long time and moved back to Arizona in 2014. I went to Northern Arizona University where I got an English degree. I'm a writer in my free time. I spend time reading, writing and exploring. I wanted to teach at Hearn because it's small enough to feel like a home. I'm excited to start the year with new colleagues and experiences.
