The goal of the AZPSS Student-led Peer-to-Peer Mentorship Program is to create a welcoming and supportive environment for military-connected students by fostering friendships, easing school transitions, building leadership skills, and promoting a strong sense of belonging through student mentorship and peer support.. Please contact Lindsay Sutherland directly for additional details regarding student leadership involvement, mentorship opportunities, and ways our campus supports military-connected students through peer engagement initiatives.
4. Patriotic assemblies or events
Our campus proudly hosts patriotic assemblies and events throughout the school year, including Civics Day activities, Veterans Day flagpole assemblies, and Month of the Military Child celebrations in April. These events provide students with opportunities to honor military service members and families, promote civic responsibility, celebrate patriotism, and strengthen community connections within our school.

Our campus is committed to ensuring smooth transitions for military-connected students by providing a welcoming school environment, peer mentorship opportunities, academic support, family communication, and access to military-related community resources. Staff members work collaboratively to support students’ social-emotional well-being, monitor academic progress during transitions, and help families feel connected and supported throughout the school year.
